Product Description

We supply replacement shock absorbers for selected Scania truck applications across the L, P, G, R and S cab families, including suitable XT configurations. Depending on the vehicle, products can include cab dampers and front or rear chassis shock absorbers.

Scania truck families cover urban operation, regional transport, long-distance haulage and demanding construction work. R- and S-series tractors require stable cab control for driver comfort on long routes, while P-, G- and XT vehicles may experience frequent load changes and rough surfaces. Accurate matching by chassis number, OEM number and mounting dimensions is important.

Inspection and Maintenance Tips

Inspect shock absorbers during scheduled chassis service and whenever the vehicle shows excessive bouncing, cab pitching, uneven tyre wear or reduced stability. Check for oil leakage, damaged bushes, loose fasteners, bent rods, corrosion and worn mounting points. Shock absorbers on the same axle or paired cab position should normally be replaced together after confirming the vehicle manufacturer’s service requirements.
