Product Description

Our DAF truck shock absorbers are developed as replacement damping components for modern distribution, long-haul and vocational vehicles. The range can cover cab suspension dampers and front or rear chassis shock absorbers, depending on the exact DAF model and suspension layout.

DAF vehicles range from urban and regional distribution trucks to spacious long-distance tractors. Correct damping helps limit repeated cab movement, control suspension rebound and maintain more stable contact between the tyres and the road. For high-mileage XF, XG and XG+ vehicles, consistent cab damping can also reduce driver fatigue caused by excessive pitching and rolling.

Compatible Truck Families

DAF XB, XD, XF, XG and XG+ trucks. Compatibility must be verified by OEM number, VIN/chassis number, installation position and dimensions.

Inspection and Maintenance Tips

Inspect shock absorbers during scheduled chassis service and whenever the vehicle shows excessive bouncing, cab pitching, uneven tyre wear or reduced stability. Check for oil leakage, damaged bushes, loose fasteners, bent rods, corrosion and worn mounting points. Shock absorbers on the same axle or paired cab position should normally be replaced together after confirming the vehicle manufacturer’s service requirements.
