Our MAN truck shock absorbers are designed for replacement use across TGX, TGS, TGM and TGL vehicle platforms. Available applications can include cab dampers, front axle shock absorbers and rear suspension dampers, subject to the specific chassis and suspension system.
TGX long-haul tractors place strong emphasis on cab stability and driving comfort, while TGS construction and heavy-duty vehicles often operate under higher loads and on rougher surfaces. TGM and TGL distribution vehicles require dependable control during frequent braking, cornering and urban manoeuvres. The correct damper must match both the vehicle series and the operating position.

Inspection and Maintenance Tips
Inspect shock absorbers during scheduled chassis service and whenever the vehicle shows excessive bouncing, cab pitching, uneven tyre wear or reduced stability. Check for oil leakage, damaged bushes, loose fasteners, bent rods, corrosion and worn mounting points. Shock absorbers on the same axle or paired cab position should normally be replaced together after confirming the vehicle manufacturer’s service requirements.
